Made from 18 mm round cross-section solid iron bar to create a 450 mm diameter ring. The lower section of the ring includes a 6 mm pipe with a nylon bar to which the net is attached. It is equipped with two reinforcing bars below to add robustness to the ring, and a 150 x 150 mm back plate with four holes to attach the ring to the backboard. The tilting rings come with an axis system/mechanism and dual spring allowing the ring to bend when a vertical force of 105 kg is applied (hanging on the ring). The anti-vandalism rings are reinforced around the edge and on the plate that attaches to the backboard using steel plate. All the rings are supplied painted orange with epoxy paint and kiln-died.
